We were friends for a long time but moved next door to Pat and Paul in June 1975. It was snowing and we couldn't get into our house so camped in their garden - two children, tent, furniture (including piano) under tarpaulin. We knocked a.hole between houses - swapped food babysitting. We grew vegetables, dug a well, became the 'hippies" of Holbrook. We laughed and then cried in the darkest.days. Pat had a strength tested to the very limits and throughout everything she would still look at you with that.smile as if to say, "Really??" God bless you, Pat - Skoupye ❤
